  • Legacy of Port Allen is more than a nursing home — it’s a welcoming community where residents feel like family. We specialize in behavior management and techniques that support mental health while always preserving resident dignity. Caring for our nation’s veterans is a privilege that Legacy of Port Allen holds closely to our hearts, ensuring they receive the respect and support they deserve.

Our residents enjoy a variety of engaging activities, including karaoke, birthday and themed parties, arts and crafts, bingo (a classic favorite!), and special events such as Fall Fest and Legacy cookouts. Meals here are home-cooked and satisfying, crafted to nourish both body and spirit — loved by residents and staff alike.

With physical, speech, and occupational therapy on-site, we support residents’ health, happiness, and independence every day.
